Swim like a Mermaid and look like one too.

Look cool for the summer with the mermaid style hair bow. There are multiple ways to rock the mermaid tail in your hair bow. I like being able to take a theme and see how many ways I can capture it using different styles and materials.

1. This first bow is a simple pinwheel 2 layered bow. The bottom layer is a turquoise satin ruffled ribbon. Then topped with a mermaid theme grosgrain ribbon. I like the ones with the reflective images, it adds a bit of shiny and shimmer that reminds me so much of the mermaid tail and reflection off of sea.

2. Next hair bow is a simple yet fun take on the mermaid tail with the bow tie look. It is a chunky glitter faux leather back. Then using the Cricut to cut my pattern from a holographic fish scales iridescent faux leather material. I like the material I get from Amazon. What i also like about this material is that it is water proof so your little mermaid can continue her look at the pool or beach.

3. This hair bow has a little more detail put into it. This is a four layered bow using faux leather. Even though it's a little more detailed, you still want to follow the same color scheme throughout. The bottom layer is a pink fish scale pattern cut to look like a mermaid tail. Next is a solid turquoise layer cut with the bow tie look. Next is the same pattern but a little smaller using a pink chunky glitter that matches the fish scale pink from the bottom layer. And on top is half bow tie and half a scalloped shell to finish the mermaid look.
